Collecting art shouldn’t be rocket science. You shouldn’t need an advanced degree and an AMEX Black Card to make art a part of your daily life. Collecting art can be deeply personal and energizing! I want to help you make commissioning a new work of art a joyful and enriching experience that adds value to your life and to your home (and doesn’t break the bank!)

HOW IT WORKS
Every commission starts with an idea. The work that I create comes from the explorations taking place in my studio. Whatever work you commission will come out of those explorations of belonging, home and placement. You won’t find portraiture commissions here, nor copies of already existing paintings, sorry! Don’t worry, friend! The process is highly collaborative and inclusive of your needs!
The process starts with a personal consultation to talk about your vision, ideas and needs. I will personally guide you in this process with personal touch points along the way. You’ll feel like you’re in the studio with me.
The dimensions of your piece are up to you, and I’ll help you figure out the best options for shipping, delivery or pick-up when the time is right.
Flexible and interest-free payment plans are always available to match your needs. You’ll have the work once its complete, not after the final payment is received. We’ll make this as easy and stress-free as possible and keep everything in a signed agreement. I’m here to help! The project begins as soon as a down payment is made.

THE PERKS
You didn’t think you were just getting a painting, did you?
Every commission comes with:
Real-time updates of your piece in progress! The process of creating a painting can be thrilling and I don’t want you to miss out on it.
You’ll get a google folder containing edited images and videos that document the process of creating your piece. These will be yours to keep and share!
Everybody loves a good before/after reveal, so you’ll also get a short video documenting the “making of” your piece. Chances are it’ll also end up on Instagram! See for yourself here!
Every commission will also come with a curated Spotify playlist of songs to compliment the artwork. It will be privately shared for you to enjoy and immerse yourself in the experience of your artwork through sound.
I will offer you a 20% commission of retail price for any new commission you send my way. Everybody wins! You’ll also have access to exclusive discounts for future commissions and purchases.
There will only be more perks over time as we grow so I’ll add you to my mailing list for first access to all things Donoso Studio.

WHY A COMMISSION?
Why commission a new piece when you can just purchase something already made? Good point!
Commissions are great for people looking for pieces of a specific size and color palette. Maybe you have a frame you absolutely love and want to use, but need a piece to go with it. Or maybe you just love having something custom-made for you! Maybe you see a piece I’ve already made and would love something similar but in a larger size, or maybe you want a series of three works at a specific size. Whatever the reason, this process will allow you to nurture your creative sensibilities.
